Attraction: The Bund

  • Location: The Bund, Shanghai
  • Transportation: Take Metro Line 14 to Yuyuan Station
  • Ticket: Free entry
  • Opening Hours: Open all day
  • Recommendation: Huangpu River Night View

Today's Must-visit: The Bund

Travel Guide 🌟

The Bund is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Shanghai, loved by both tourists and locals alike. This time, we chose to visit during off-peak hours, but there was still a large crowd, bustling with activity.

The first recommendation when visiting The Bund is to take public transportation, but this time we decided to drive there ourselves and arrived early, securing a few parking spots. The parking lot on this side is relatively narrow.

Attraction Highlights ✅

Everyone says that The Bund is beautiful, but it wasn't until I walked along the Huangpu River that I truly realized its beauty. The photos here don't need any editing; they come out with a natural black and gold filter!

Standing on The Bund, you can see iconic buildings on the opposite side of the Huangpu River, such as Oriental Pearl Tower, which makes for a great photo opportunity from a distance.

On the other end of the road, there is an area full of historical and international buildings. Grab your AE camera and take a photo with the headquarters of the Shanghai Pudong Development Bank.

There is also a place near The Bund where a double-decker bus stops. If you want to visit famous landmarks in Shanghai, consider taking this bus. Check off each stop along the way, or if you only love The Bund, you might want to consider taking a cruise on the Huangpu River, which is particularly stunning at night.

Lastly, there is a beautiful wall along The Bund with butterflies 🦋. Children who see it instantly fall in love with it and begin to sing and dance alongside.
